International Day of Cooperatives

On this International Day of Cooperatives, at Irizar we are celebrating our 135th anniversary.

135 years in which we have engraved innovation in our DNA, since in 1889 Jose Antonio Irizar decided to start manufacturing elegant carriages and later moved on to coach bodywork.

It was in 1963 when the Irizar brothers wanted to involve the Irizar workers in the management of the company. The transformation into a cooperative allowed the company to continue its commitment to innovation and product development.
